Perth City Swim Club Championships 2017

July 22, 2017

Save The Date - Saturday 30th September & Sunday 1st October 2017

The 2017 Club Championships will be held over the weekend of the 30th September & 1st October this year.  As in previous years the programme will be written with the intention of encouraging all club members to swim, with that we will once again hold events over 4 daytime sessions; two on the Saturday and two on the Sunday and have events specifically intended for our newer swimmers.

The Club Championships is a great first swim meet for new or inexperienced swimmers and the Committee hope every member will take the opportunity to participate.

PCSC Duck Race & BBQ

June 30, 2017

Noon – 2pm, Sunday August 27th 2017

Quarrymill, Perth

Well, it’s almost that time of year again – time to look out the sunscreen, dust down the picnic blanket and head on down to Quarrymill Woodland Park for our annual BBQ and duck race.

The cost per person is £3, which includes a filled roll, cake and drink. This is a great day out for all the family and a brilliant chance for all the kids (and adults!) to have some fun together away from the pool, so please come along!

Please pop your name on the sheet on the club noticeboard at the pool or email Anne at the address below to let us know you can make it!

We’ll be in touch next month with more information about buying ducks and requests for cakes, but in the meantime, have a great summer!!!

Medical Declaration Form

April 04, 2015
A reminder on membership and competition: if you're competing in a British Swimming; Scottish Swimming; ASA; or WASA National event, in any discipline excluding Masters; or competing for GB or your Home Country internationally, you must fill in and return a Scottish Swimming medical declaration form every year.

Should any medication you are taking change throughout the year, you need to send a new, updated form immediately. You can find it on the membership pages on the Scottish Swimming Website, under members > 'membership forms'. Send it back to the address shown on the form.

Reminder Re Gala Entry Fees

February 17, 2015

The club’s policy is that all fees for accepted and reserve swims (where a reserve swimmer is given a swim) are due within 7 days of the gala taking place. Payment should be by cheque or cash and placed in the club mail box in an envelope clearly labelled with the swimmer’s name and the name of the competition. In accordance with the Club Constitution, entries from swimmers for whom outstanding fees from previous meets have not been paid will NOT be accepted until the debt is cleared.

The Committee therefore recommends that all outstanding fees from past galas should be settled immediately.
